The Gilbert Symphony Orchestra is made up of adult musicians from all walks of life, united by one shared passion: the pursuit of performing exceptional live music. Adults and advanced high-school students from the community are all invited to audition.
As a volunteer-based orchestra, all members must audition to be considered for the ensemble. We place a high value on the community spirit, camaraderie, and dedication that each member brings. If you have a passion for making great music, can commit to attending rehearsals, and are ready to put in the necessary practice, we would love for you to audition and join us.
Our rehearsals are held on Wednesdays from 7-9PM at Higley High School, and start 5 weeks prior to each concert date.
We are also auditioning for the newly formed Gilbert Symphony Chorus, which will perform once a year with the Gilbert Symphony Orchestra. All vocalists are invited to join.
